Hlg Growth Stories
HLG Hospital was inaugurated in December, 2004. It started commercial operations on 24th
January 2005 with modest bed strength of 40, spread over the basement
and ground floor area. Initially, the hospital had the following
· General Ward (Male & Female)
· Pathology Center
· Emergency Care
· Eye Department (to handle cataract surgery)
· Infertility Clinic
Some facilities, hitherto unheard of in the region, were also on offer. Notable among these were:
· Private Cabins
· 24/7 Ambulance
· 24/7 Pharmacy
· Contemporary OT with C-arm facility
HLG hospital soon went into expansion mode, and construction work on
its first floor began in September, 2005. This floor became operational
in the month of December, 2006 with 6 beds. Soon, it was time to
increase the bed strength, and from 6, it went up to 14 beds in 2007.
2007 was a busy year for HLG hospital as several new features were
added to benefit the patients. The hospital rapidly scaled up its
infrastructure and operations. In January, the Dialysis Unit became
functional. The NICCU Unit too expanded its strength from 4 to 10 beds.
This was also the year when the hospital started offering CT scan
facility, and the ICCU got a facelift, thanks to certain additional
amenities such as multipara monitor, ventilator, and C -Pap facility. In
2012, a modern Catheterization Laboratory or Cath Lab was added to
facilitate the treatment of high risk patients suffering from complex
cases of heart disease.
The care and commitment of HLG hospital and its doctors as well staff
was recognized by the patients and their family members, and
word-of-the-mouth publicity made it a name that people could trust with,
when it came to seeking affordable and yet quality healthcare services.
Recognition from different quarters of the society and the medical
fraternity started pouring in as well for HLG hospital’s commendable
efforts and commitments.
At present, HLG hospital has a bed strength of 150, which is likely to
go up soon to make way for more patients queuing up in the hope of
getting world-class healthcare.
